About the Wounded Warrior Project.
The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is a charity that helps Wounded Warriors help get back on there feet. For example if a wounded Veteran had an amputated arm or leg, the WWP would help pay for the prophetic arm or leg.
Not All War Injuries are visible
Not All Injuries are visible, a lot of veterans experience the harsh reality of war that stick with them for the rest of there lives. Two of the most popular brain injuries are Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) is brain damage from a blow to the head, kind of like a concussion except a lot worse. Most of the time the TBI is from a explosion. Now the other one I am going to talk about is, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). "PTSD is like having a bad day but 10 times worse every day" I heard that from a email from the WWP. The smallest thing can set off PTSD. If they heard a gun shot they might go crazy because they think they are back in combat under enemy fire they can't control their self.
How the wounded warrior project helps
The wounded warrior project helps wounded vets and service men and women by getting them treatment.
