SPARKING ACADEMIC CONVERSATIONS
This half day session will provide participants with tools to support learners in participating in academic conversations. It is a great opportunity for all content area teachers to weave these tools into your planning to meet the needs of all learners including the economically disadvantaged and English Learners.
Learning outcomes include:
- Understand culturally relevant practices in relation to engagement in the classroom.
- Become equipped with protocols and strategies to enhance academic conversations in the classroom.
