National School Counseling Week
National School Counseling Week 2022, “School Counseling: Better Together,” sponsored by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), will be celebrated from Feb. 7–11, 2022, to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems and how students are different as a result of what school counselors do. National School Counseling Week highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career. At EHS students can stop by the counseling office for stickers and candy. National School Counseling Week is always celebrated the first full week in February.

EHS Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) Information
Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) is a program that allows highly motivated 10th-, 11th- and 12th-grade students to earn college credit while still in high school, through enrollment in and successful completion of college-level courses. With traditional PSEO, these courses are generally offered on the campus of the postsecondary institution; some courses are offered online. The cost of tuition, course fees, and textbooks is covered by the Minnesota Department of Education.
EHS requires both parents AND students to view our EHS PSEO Informational Video prior to registration for PSEO. After watching the video, students and parents should read through the EHS PSEO Information and Permission form and return to their student’s counselor. The informational video and signed permission form will suffice for the EHS required meeting.
Students should still register for a full year of EHS classes for the 2022-2023 school year even if they plan on taking PSEO classes. The MN State Department of Education deadline for notifying EHS about your intention to participate in PSEO is May 30th.
