Dear Fourth Grade Families,
The countdown is on... only 8 school days left...UNTIL...W I N T E R B R E A K !
(Cheers, Applause, Shouts of JOY, etc.!) With only 8 days left until our Winter Party, Winter Break, and the end of 2nd Quarter, we will continue to keep, "shining on!"
Holiday Spirit Days and Events to Keep Our "Lights All Aglow!"
Friday, December 16th - Holiday Sock Day
Monday, December 19th - Pajama Day!
Tuesday, December 20th - Holiday Sweater/Shirt Day
Wednesday, December 21st - Holiday Character Day (Snowman, Reindeer, Elf, etc.)
Holiday Grams
To spread some holiday cheer, Student Council will be selling Holiday Grams again this year. The money raised will directly go to our Leadership Program. Holiday Grams will be sold from 8:20am-9:00am on December 5th-16th. They will also be sold at IGNiTE night. Click here for more details.
Holiday Night
Student Council will be sponsoring a Holiday Craft, Minute-to-Win-It, and Carol Sing-a-Along night on December 19th from 6:00-7:00pm. There will be hot chocolate and popcorn available for purchase, but everything else will be free. Student Council is asking for a donation of a stuffed animal in return for attending this event. The stuffed animals will be given to children spending the holidays in the hospital.
WINTER PARTY VOLUNTEERS UPDATE!!!
Our Classroom Winter Party is coming up on Wednesday, Dec. 21st, from 2:30-3:20!! Thank you SO much who have signed up to volunteer. I will contacting our volunteers tomorrow, with more details from our party planners. Thank you for volunteering!!!

2nd Quarter Teacher Appreciation Luncheon (provided by PTA)
Monday, Dec. 19- Kickapoo H.S. Choir Assembly- Time TBD;
Student Council Holiday Craft/Minute-to-Win-It & Carol Sing-Along Night at Jeffries 6-7PM (free to get in/new stuffed animal donation requested, hot cocoa, etc. available for purchase) in the Gym & APR. Holiday Sweater Day! (Wear your favorite or not-favorite holiday sweater)!
Wednesday, Dec. 21- End of 2nd Quarter;
It's a Winter Wonderland! (Staff/Students can dress up as a snowman, elf, reindeer, etc.). All school assembly (Choir performs)- 1:30-2:15PM; Winter Holiday Parties (2:30-3:30PM)- led by homeroom parents (see your child(ren)'s teacher if interested in helping.
Thursday, Dec. 22- End of 2nd Quarter- Professional Work Day (no students)
