The Year 6s were fantastic on their visit to Forest Lakes Camp last week!! They all demonstrated their Mercy Values being supportive, helpful and kind to each other. The year 6s completed activities such as: horse riding, kayaking, gladiator, archery, confidence course, mudslide, flying fox, swimming, mini golf and ten pin bowling, A massive thanks to our parent helpers Tracy, Nick, Matt, Wayne and Daniel who were absolutely fantastic and made the trip a fun and enjoyable event for all!!. A camp video has been completed and will be screened at a school event in the future!!
HUB, HERO and HEALTH
Last week, our Junior Hub welcomed parents and families into their classrooms and shared our Health Curriculum and clarity around our HERO App which will be used more in the future.
We know we have many Apps up and running at the moment. We currently have SEESAW as this was our main source of communication when we needed to communicate with children and parents. We use SCHOOL APPS as well which links our website and facebook notices through this platform.
Our wonderful Middle and Senior Hub will be host an evening for families on TUESDAY 18th OCTOBER at 5.30pm. If your child is in Room 4,5,6 or 8 then note this date.
You will have the chance to look around classrooms, your child can share their learning and then the teachers will talk to you about their programmes for Term 4, the Health Curriculum and how to use the HERO app effectively.
