Principal's Newsletter

From the Desk of Ms. Clark

December 3, 2020

Dear Parents,

We made it to the 2nd Trimester! We are committed to and every day see the benefits of in-person instruction! Our teachers have done an incredible job in extremely challenging circumstances. As always, thank you for supporting our efforts.

All of our classes are marking this Advent season with special prayers and activities. Whatever traditions you have in your homes as you prepare and anticipate, I hope that your families are enjoying the togetherness and the joy that comes with the Advent season.

May we use these weeks of Advent to quiet our hearts, to seek, and to prepare.

God’s blessings,

Ms. Clark

REVISED Symptom Screening Tool

All parents are primarily responsible for monitoring the health of their children. While it is our intention to remain open for the entire school year, parents are expected to do their part and keep their children home when they are sick.

Please see below for the “Revised” Symptom Monitor Checklist which is to be completed each day. By sending your child to school, you are confirming that you have completed this health screening.

Health and Safety Reminders

As cases are increasing each day within our county, I urge you to continue to take necessary precautions to limit coronavirus spread in our community.

  1. Continue with your attentiveness to washing our hands

  2. Properly wear face masks indoors and outdoors when away from home

  3. Maintain appropriate physical distance

  4. NO SLEEPOVERS

  5. No small or large social gatherings

  6. Monitor your health on a daily basis.

Report Cards

Report Cards for the First Trimester will be available tomorrow, Friday after 3:30pm on your MSP Parent Account. Please take time to review the report card with your child(ren). Be sure to give praise where praise is due and encouragement where needed. Remember not to make comparisons. Praise and encouragement go a long way.
