Golden Hills Elementary School

February 2021

Golden Hills Vision

Golden Hills Eagles grow together, learn with passion, act with kindness, and change the world!

Message from the Principal:

February is known for being "Kindness Month."

Being kind is an important component of who we are at Golden Hills. There are many positive effects for doing kind acts for others as well as receiving or even witnessing kindness. Even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference in a person's day and life!

During the past few weeks myself, Ms. Farrar, and Golden HIlls teachers have been meeting with many of you to develop an action plan to support your student. Please remind your student that it is important to participate in their learning in the days they are both on and off campus. If you would like to set up a meeting for extra support, please reach out to your teacher or Mrs. Napoli.

The Palermo Union Elementary School District is following COVID safety guidelines. As indicated in our PUESD Reopening Plan students who display one or more COVID-19 like symptoms are not allowed to remain/attend in person school. Your student will not be counted as absent if they are present for Distance Learning daily with their teacher. If you have multiple students in our district, the siblings and/or other PUESD students who live in the same household will also need to stay home. Our nurse will contact you to determine the days in which they can return to on campus instruction.

We appreciate your cooperation! We understand this is a difficult time for many and we are here to support you!

Mrs. Napoli
