Newsflash
Mrs. Conyers' Class-September 14-18
What's New??
We had a great first few days in kindergarten. There were little tears and many, many smiles. This week we will have our first real fire drill as well as our first bus drill. We have been practicing what to do during a fire drill so we are ready. Last week on Friday we had 6 caterpillars and this Monday morning we discovered that they had molted one last time and we now have 6 chrysalis. We are eager to see what comes out of those chrysalis, but know we must be patient. This week we will be learning the words, "I" and "am". We will also review letters. In math, we will learn about sorting objects. Please make sure to look over your child's work daily. There will be no homework that must be returned until after Open House on the 29th.
Reminders:
- Check the snack calendar and send in snack on your designated day. We have a red die (RED 40 allergy)
- Students need to wear sneakers EVERYDAY!
- No School on September 23rd
- Open House on September 29th
