Coat drive
Do you have coats in your closet you no longer use? Pass them along to someone who will!! From Monday, Sept. 27 through Friday October 1, we will be collecting gently-used coats of ALL sizes (as well as other "winter wear" such as snow pants, boots, hats, gloves, etc.). Donated items will go directly to Hamilton County Kids Coats (www.kidscoats.org) to support their six coat giveaways across Hamilton County later this fall (see below). Simply bring in your items and drop them in the donation box in the entry area of a school!
(Donations are also being accepted at the Westfield Public Library, as well as Centier Banks across Hamilton County!)
And if you have interest in contributing a set of helping hands to the Hamilton County Kids Coats cause, visit https://kidscoats.org/volunteer. Each year, HCKC distributes thousands of coats... so on behalf of both them and kids and families across Hamilton County, we thank you for your support!!!
In need of a winter coat?
Hamilton County Kids Coats will be holding six separate coat giveaways later this fall (see below). To get coats from one of the six giveaway sites, sign up for an appointment at https://kidscoats.org/appointments or call (317) 324-8818 before October 15. Apply for Financial Assistance
Even though school lunches are free to all students, to receive financial assistance for curricular materials (Chromebooks, textbooks, workbooks, classroom novels, online resources, and supplies like science lab chemicals, and art supplies) families still need to apply to the free and reduced program.
The application must be completed online. If you need access to a computer or assistance filling it out, please contact Gladys Salas at Central Office at 317-867-8002.
If you do not qualify for the free and reduced program, there are payment plans designed to help parents pay their student(s) fees in smaller amounts.
