"Claudius poured poison in his ear; the poison curdled his blood and rose to his skin, until his body was covered with a vile and loathsome crust."
Sleeping within me orchid, my custom always of the afternoon, upon my secure hour thy uncle stole with juice of cursed hebona in a vial and in the porches of my ears did pour the leprous distillation that swift as quicksilver it courses through the natural gates of the body."
"With Juice of cursed hebenon in a vial."
"O, this the poison of deep grief; it springs all from her father's death."
Literary elements discovered
Analysis of literary elements:
1.One of the literary elements that we discovered is aristotle's tragic hero because from the beginning of the play we clearly know that this is a tragedy and Hamlet being the main character only heightens this because of the role the poison has played in changing the mind state of Hamlet and affecting others around him.
2.Imagery is also shown because with the specific quotes and text we read through there was various assortments of images that were depicted in the readers mind in terms of how the death of Claudius was carried out and the overall affect of the motif of poison.
