End of Course Project - Japan Travel Brochure
What to do:
Provide 10 basic phrases that you believe are essential to getting around in Japan. Remember, these students don't know Japanese, so they can't read hiragana and katakana! You'll need to write your phrasebook in Romaji (spelling counts!).
This week we're learning to ask people if they like/dislike certain things. This could certainly be a useful thing to know how to say in Japanese if visiting Japan (hint, hint) ;)
Think about things we have learned how to say with the previous lessons. Here's a few ideas to consider from prior lessons:
- How to introduce ourselves and greet others (Lesson 1)
- Asking for phone numbers and asking someone's age (Lesson 2)
- Asking "what is this/that/that over there?" (Lesson 3)
- Asking where someone is from/what language they speak? (Lesson 6)
- Asking or talking about people what they do/did/will do (Lesson 8)
- Talking about food! Need I say more? ;) (Lesson 9)
- Asking or talking about hobbies (Lesson 10)
Please be sure to have 10 phrases written in romaji for this portion of the project. Spelling must be correct!
For today, try to come up with a few good phrases to include in your End of Course project. Let me know if you need any help!
