Letter from Our 2019-2020 President

Hello Trail Blazers!

What an exciting time to be at Lebanon Trail High School! There's excitement buzzing around our campus as we begin the new 2019-2020 school year!

As we welcome the fourth incoming Freshman class and celebrate our first Senior class...the class of's great to be a Trail Blazer!

I am honored to have a Senior in the Class of 2020--our first graduating class-- and to serve as LTHS PTSA President for a third year. I sincerely love this school and it is a joy for my family and me to serve in any way we can. I hope you will join us in serving our outstanding school population.

LTHS PTSA is blessed to enjoy an amazing partnership with administration, parents, teachers, and students as we work to realize every child's potential...the mission of PTA! Our PTSA is a diverse organization that represents the school's rich and multi-cultural community. We are fortunate to have a twenty-four member board with one-fourth of those positions filled with students! Our goal is to be a voice for every parent, teacher and student. We are actively and diligently working to enhance the educational experiences of all.

I'd like to personally invite you to join our PTSA and become a part of supporting our efforts. We provide teacher grants, first-time scholarship availability to the class of 2020, volunteer opportunities, parent educational programs, student enrichment and much more. You can even get fabulous discounts at some popular business for just being a PTSA member!

This year, PTSA has partnered with Student Council to issue a challenge to the entire student body: Join PTSA! To our knowledge, no high school in Frisco ISD has ever had 100% student membership. We want to be true trailblazers and become the first! After all, it’s Never Been Done!

As always, the PTSA is here to help make parenting and the education process successful. Please let us know how we can serve you this year. We hope you will join us at our upcoming meetings and programs and that you will get involved supporting our wonderful school!

Wishing you a fantastic year!

Go Blazers!

NEVER BEEN DONE! Membership Drive

This year, PTSA has partnered with Student Council to issue a challenge to the entire student body: Join PTSA! On September 3rd, we will kicked off our Never Been Done Membership campaign.

In true trailblazing spirit, this campaign challenges every student and teacher at LTHS to join our PTSA. The class with the greatest participation will win a class party of some sort and have their class year engraved on a PTSA Membership plaque on a wall at LT. However, it goes without saying that, if successful, We will all be winners! All the funds raised will benefit our school. Membership is $10 and you can join at

Membership in PTSA is Important.

It's a Fact: Kids Do Better When Parents are Engaged in Their Learning.

  • The PTSA at Lebanon Trail HS is part of a state and national network of over 23,000 local units and millions of members.
  • There are almost half a million PTA members in Texas alone. Frisco ISD has over 60 schools and over 24,000 members across parts of Collin and Denton counties, making our district almost 5% of the current state membership!
  • By growing our membership, we continue to have a voice at the state level to represent our district. Each membership contributes to the success of our students, schools and community. We are an advocacy organization focused on student success!
  • Through advocacy, as well as family and community education, National PTA has established programs and called for legislation that improves our lives, such as: The Creation of Kindergarten classes, Child labor laws, Hot and healthy lunch programs, Juvenile justice system reforms, Mandatory immunization, Arts in Education and School Safety.

Student Membership is Required for Scholarship Eligibility.

Per LTHS PTSA Standing Rules, students must be a member of the Lebanon Trail High School PTSA and meet the following guideline:

a. 2020 graduates must have two years of PTSA membership.

b. 2021 graduates must have three years of PTSA membership.

c. 2022 graduates and all graduates thereafter must have four years of PTSA membership.

We need parent, teacher, and community memberships as well, but we earnestly want our students to take the challenge and join our PTSA!

Please support and join our PTSA today! Let’s do something that's Never Been Done and have 100% student membership!
