Bronco Chronicles
Volume 13, Week 11/14 - 11/18/16
Principal's Message
Goooooood morning #BroncoStrong faulty and staff. The thirteenth week of school has been titillating! Mr. Garcia's class enjoyed their popcorn party during Team Time on Wednesday and Mrs. Camp's Team Time enjoyed a Pizza party during lunch on Thursday. Shooting for perfect attendance really pays off, not only did these kids gain an extrinsic motivator in the form of food, more importantly, they attained an intrinsic motivator - the sense of accomplishment & pride. Good job guys!
We had a great turnout for BJH Thanksgiving Feast in the B&B Café on Tuesday, 11/15. Over thirty-five family members came to enjoy a wonderful meal with their kiddo! With that said, I want to send a big shout out to the parents and family members who attended and say thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to truly make your kiddo's day! Additionally, I would like to thank our cafeteria staff for a delicious meal.
On 11/16, Mr. Moore and Mrs. Camp took 90 of our students to Abilene for the World of Work Youth Expo held in the Abilene Convention Center. The W.O.W. Expo was sponsored by the Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas. The expo had over 100 interactive exhibits from a variety of career clusters including, but not limited to business/industry, robotics, votech, and culinary. Thanks to Mr. Moore, Mrs. Camp and Mr. Moses for chaperoning and caring for our kids on this field trip.
Don't forget we are on an alternate bell schedule today, thus permitting us to participate in the football send off in front of the new gym from 10:40-11:00. This will take place after third period, so students need to leave their stuff in their third period teacher's room and go with their third period teacher to the send off. Let's show our Breckenridge pride and cheer our team on to an Area victory.
Now let's have a blessed day and make it the BEST Friday of the week. Don't forget to stay #BroncoStrong!

Servant Leadership
If I Could Teach You, Teacher
I'd teach you how much more
you have accomplished
than you think you have.
I'd show you the seeds
you planted years ago
that are now coming into bloom.
I'd reveal to you the young minds
that have expanded under your care,
the hearts that are serving others
because they had you as a role model.
If I could teach you, teacher,
I'd show you the positive effect
you have had on me and my life.
Your homework is
to know your value to the world,
to acknowledge it, to believe it.
Thank you, teacher.
