A Message from our SRO:
This is a reminder that students with a provisional license cannot drive other students around. This means during lunch time as well.
With your provisional driver license, you must be accompanied and supervised by a licensed parent, guardian or another licensed driver 25 years of age or older, or by a licensed or certified driving instructor when you:
•Transport passengers under 20 years of age at any time, for the first twelve months.
•Drive between 11 pm and 5 am for the first twelve months.
This means you cannot give anyone under 20 years old (your friends, your brother(s), sister(s), cousin(s), etc.) a ride unless you have a licensed parent, a guardian or other adult 25 years old or older in the car with you. You are also not allowed to drive between 11 pm and 5 am during your first year after getting your license unless you have a licensed parent, a guardian or other adult 25 years old or older in the car with you.
With a provisional license, you can drive by yourself between the hours of 5 am and 11 pm. If you are under 18, you cannot be employed to drive a motor vehicle.
When you turn 18 years of age, the provisional part of your license ends. You may continue to drive as an adult using your photo license, which will expire on your 5th birthday after the date you applied.
Front Office Drop Off
- In order to ensure school safety, drop offs in the front office are limited to ACADEMIC related drop off only. This means that only homework or projects may be left in the office with the receptionist. Items that are not allowed to be dropped off are: balloons, flowers, money, gifts or food. Thank you in advance for keeping our front office a place of business.
- We do not allow food delivery services like Uber Eats on campus during school hours.

Students interested in visiting UC Santa Cruz
UCSC Admissions will host annual Saturday Tours on October 20 and November 10, 2018.
These student-led campus tours provide prospective students with a general introduction to academic and campus opportunities.
An Admissions presentation covering freshman and transfer admissions will be followed by a student panel and an all-walking campus tour.
On the tours, students and families will see the beautiful campus and learn more about the exceptional academic experience and co-curricular opportunities that UC Santa Cruz offers! For students who cannot visit the campus this fall, we offer an online virtual tour featuring the voices of their outstanding student tour guides, and offered in five languages.
Session times are available at 10:00 a.m, 12:00 p.m, and 2:00 p.m. Students reservations for all campus tours must be made in advance online.
