A Few Things
*Continue to complete and send in your forms for Take Me to Your Reader for the reading program and Hike & Bike. Forms are due Friday, May 2nd.
*Please return the Letter of Intent for the 2014-2015 school year by May 9th.
*Be on the look-out for your child's first grade shirt. This is the HOME/SLE shirt with the state of Texas on front that we wore on our field trip. This shirt needs to be worn on Field Day (Friday, May 23).
*Our school-wide Hike & Bike will take place Friday, May 30th before school starts in the morning. Students are encouraged to ride their bikes since the Grapevine Police Department will be conducting bicycle safety during specials that day.
*School Supply Pack order forms are due May 30th. Supply Packs will be delivered to your child's classroom next Fall in time for Meet the Teacher night in his/her new grade level. You can order online, as well.

Math Telescoping Exams
Testing opportunities for telescoping in math for the 2014-2015 school year are available in May and August for students in grades K through 7. A completed registration form and payment for the exam(s) must be received in the Assessment & Accountability Department by the registration deadline for each exam date. The Information Packet with Registration form may be accessed on the district website under the For Parents and Students Directory and then selecting the link for Acceleration Exams, Math Telescoping, Grades K-7.
