Bad eating habits
Sugar hides in everyday foods including ¨sugar free¨
Many people try to avoid sugary foods but it is found in just about everything especially candy and other junk foods. But some foods that say they are sugar free actually have sugar in them like tomato sauce, fat free dressing, marinates, crackers, and even bread.
Sugar Consumption
the average person takes in 22 teaspoons of sugar daily, 3 times more than the amount suggested by the American Heart association. Sugar has 16 calories per teaspoon with almost no additional nutritional values. The extra calories raise your risk of obesity, which in turn sets you up for diabetes and heart disease.
Improve sugar consumption
avoid pastries, cookies, muffins, and other white bread, refined flour treats offer little nutrition but are dense in added sugar. Try to eat whole grains. Give up sugary drinks like soda, sweet tea, fruit juice, and sports drinks. Some ways to avoid sugar consumption would be to use honey in your coffee instead of sugar
Moderation
For many people, to lose weight you think out cutting sugar of completely. But to live a healthy lifestyle you need to consume a little bit of sugar. If you cut off sugar completely your body could go into wreck after it depended on for ever. So in a healthy lifestyle, a little candy is better than none.
