The District is looking to streamline urgent and emergency messaging to staff and family. We are planning to utilize our messaging platform called Remind to facilitate these communications.

As a result, the District successfully sent out its 'test' urgent and emergency communication on Thursday, April 20th at 3:45pm. If you received the message there is nothing more you need to do. However, if you are a parent/guardian and did NOT RECEIVE the message, please fill out this Contact Update Form.

IAR (llinois Assessment of Readiness) for students in grades 3-5 has been completed. You are encouraged to talk with your students about the tests and always encourage them to perform at their highest level on these standardized assessments. Next week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday our 5th graders take the Illinois Science Assessment (ISA). Click here for more information about the assessment and allow your student(s) an opportunity to practice. It is crucial that each student come to school on these dates and on time as testing will start at 8:50am. Please be sure that your child is well rested and has eaten a healthy breakfast. Students will need their computers to take the ISA so be sure your student brings his/her computer fully charged, their charger, and a pair of corded headphones or earbuds.

This week we had a three way tie for attendance challenge! Second, Fourth and Fifth grades all had only 5 absences this week. Fourth grade also won for least amount of tardies. Congratulations!
