Community Spirit Awards: Hoping for an in person outdoor event in the fall...
Our annual Community Spirit Awards are in June each year. Having missed 2020 and just regaining some freedom of joining together we have decided to postpone until the early fall.
We will plan for outdoors with an option for under a tent or an alternative indoor space. Look for nomination opportunities in the beginning of August.
Address the Stress Social Media Campaign
Wayside in Watertown has partnered with Waltham, Brookline, Belmont, Somerville, Everett, and Cambridge to release a campaign on Instagram to reduce youth stress by increasing positive coping strategies. Please take some time to visit the Instagram page and learn helpful tips to reduce youth stress. The page also allows for interactive content in order to learn what other youth enjoy doing to help manage stress.
An easy access strategy that can change your mood:)
