September Teacher of the Month
Albert Perez
Mr. Perez is a wonderful team player, a hard-working teacher, and an amazing coworker. He works extremely hard to make his students feel special. He goes the extra mile and many times spends his own money to help make the school a fun place. You can catch him at volleyball and football games supporting the kids after school. Congratulations, Mr. Perez. We appreciate all you do to make RCMS a GREAT place to be!
September Parent of the Month
Mayra Monsivais
Ms. Monsivais has been a parent representative for some of our meetings. We are so appreciative to have her expertise during our meetings when we are discussing how to best serve our students. Thank you for your help!

Counselor's Corner
Two weeks ago, I was fortunate to attend a training for a program designed for students who have experienced stressful or traumatic events. This program is comprised of ten lessons that help your child deal with the stressful situation he or she has encountered. We will focus on the stressor and discuss ways to overcome fear and stress. Sometimes students handle stressful situations by avoiding places like school, or they have difficulty falling asleep at night or concentrating on their schoolwork. If you feel that your child would benefit from this group counseling program, please let me know by calling the school or sending me an email. Below is my contact information.
