The museum has set a goal for 100,000 students to visit the museum by the end of the 2019-2020 school year.

The Institute for Learning
The Institute for Learning (IFL) in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh School for Education Center for Urban Education (CUE) and Dallas Independent School District will serve as a network improvement hub in literacy for 14 Dallas ISD secondary schools serving predominantly African American, Latino, and low-income students with a five-year, $7.4 million grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Darlene Seeley's English I Class was the site for a visit by IFL Partners because of the collaborative, engaging activities supported in her classroom.
WT White Longhorn Class of 1969 celebrated their 50th Reunion walking the hallways of their Alma Mater with Assistant Principal, Gene Golden, who later became the principal from 1970-1976.
