PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

We are halfway through our second trimester and are seeing lots of success in our classrooms.

On February 6th, the National Junior Honor Society will be inducting the largest number of 7th and 8th grade students that Hanby has had in the last 10 years! These students are being recognized for their outstanding contribution to Academics, Citizenship, and Service.

The end of Wrestling and Girls Basketball seasons is coming soon -- Thank You to the coaches of both sports for a successful season. I'd also like to thank our Hanby parents and sports fans this season; you have been a great example of good sportsmanship for our children. All teams had successful seasons and our Varsity girls basketball team won the Husky Classic Tournament.

March 3rd will start the track season and I encourage the participation of all students.

Our Brain Bowl team is also in season and has shown much growth this year. Thank you to Mr. Curry and our Brain Bowl participants.

Have a great month and we all look forward to some good weather!

Mr. Dippel
