CAASPP Testing Continues...
Remember, we are on a block schedule Mondays, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday we will stay on our regular bell schedule with the 2:50 pm release time. Please click on the SBAC letter link to find more information as well as our bell schedule.
MCC Annual Barrio Empowerment Event - March 30, 2022
The Barrio Empowerment Event is taking place at MiraCosta College on Wednesday, March 30th from 8:30am-1:30pm. It will be in person this year with workshops, inspirational speakers, college and career fairs, music, and lunch will be provided! Students must turn in a permission packet by March 22nd to participate, and spots are first come, first serve basis since space is limited. Students should see their school counselor's Google Classroom, see Mrs. Cruz in Counseling, or go to the Career Center before or after school or during lunch to sign up!
Wildcat Week in Sports: 3/21/22 - 3/26/22
Field trip to the MiraCosta Technology Career Institute: March 22nd
Juniors and seniors are invited to participate in hands-on activities, interact with current students, and tour the facility to learn more about the courses and certificate options at the TCI! At the TCI, students can earn a certificate in as little as four months! See flyer for more details. Students can pick up a permission slip in the College & Career Center.
Graduation Products for Class of 2022
The countdown to graduation is on! Caps, gowns, announcements and rings can be ordered via San Diego Graduate Supply. You can order online at www.sdgrad.com or make an appointment to come into our office by calling 619-440-5426. Order Form.
Cap & Gown
Students may order either brown or gold gowns. Honors graduates will be notified and their cap and gown will be swapped for a white cap and gown. Loaner caps and gowns will be available after March 1st. Order online at www.sdgrad.com.

- MCJROTC Collection Drive: The El Camino ROTC and the American Legion Auxiliary Oceanside Unit 146 are partnering with Support the Enlisted Project, STEP, to support our active duty military families.

- Climate Video Challenge: To create the world we want to live in, we must first imagine a future where people and ecosystems can survive and thrive. California Coastal Commission would like to invite middle and high school students to present a video response to the question: What is your vision for a thriving future? Submission deadline is midnight on March 31st, 2022. For rules, brainstorming prompts, climate change resources, and how to enter, please visit https://coastal.ca.gov/climatechallenge/. Prizes may be offered to the top three submissions. Students may enter as individual or a group of up to five.
