Quiz Bowl
Buffett Quiz Bowl students competed at Lincoln Northeast on Saturday, April 25. The JV Team, made up of Bailey, Charlotte, and Jill, represented Buffett well, competing and improving in each round. The Varsity Team, with Arnav, Kaden, Luca, and Daelyn, placed 3rd overall and went 7-1 on the day. Their only loss was to the eventual champions from Irving Middle School (Lincoln) in the semi-finals. They lost that match by 5 points, the value of one bonus question, when questions ran out. In the consolation round, Buffett defeated #1 seed St. Joseph’s, securing the 3rd place trophy.
Both teams represented Buffett well and have worked hard all season.
