Whew! Can you believe that we are entering the last month of school this week? This semester has flown by! As I am sure you have noticed, this is the time of year where children get a little antsy. Sometimes they even neglect to follow the procedures you have set for your classroom and your grade level. Give yourself permission to pause for a moment and re-teach those expectations. Everyone, including the students, will be happier in the long run and you'll get more quality experiences out of the time you have.

Last week we finished up our end of year conferences for all professional staff. This is just a quick reminder to electronically sign your evaluation and to click "complete" on your goal. Some of you may have needed to attach additional evidence. If that's the case, please add that evidence before clicking "complete".

Professional staff - Bryan sent an email this morning about the Carnival sign up. Please check that out at your earliest convenience.

Finally, our Volunteer Breakfast is this Thursday. All staff will meet in the library to set up right after dismissal on Wednesday. As my grandmother used to say, "Many hands make light work." With everyone's help, we should be able to set up quickly. Don't forget to check that sign up sheet (to see what you signed up for) and bring your item! If you have any additional RSVP's, please turn them in.

Here's an interesting article about word walls. How do you decide which words go on the word wall? Are your students involved in the process? How can you get more use out of your word wall?
