IMPORTANT HEALTH INFORMATION
From Health Assistant, Mrs. Luhtala
Due to the dry air, we are seeing an increase of bloody noses in school. Students, PLEASE go to the health office with any nose bleed. You can sit in comfort while applying pressure to the nose, and health staff can notify the custodial staff so that proper bloodborne pathogen clean-up can be done in whatever bathroom or hallway you were in. This is very important for the health and safety of all. Blood in sinks, on mirrors, and on the floor poses a health risk to other students and staff. When your health office visit is complete, you will get a pass to return to class.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter.

PROJECT GRADUATION DONATIONS
It's hard to believe that we are halfway through the school year and that much closer to graduation for the Waunakee High School Class of 2023! A group of senior parents is hard at work planning our annual Project Graduation — a safe, fun, all-night event for the whole class at the high school after the ceremony with tons of food, activities and prizes. It's traditionally very well attended, and a highlight for the kids each year. But we can't make it a success without the generous support from parents and our community. Please find this year's WHS Project Graduation Corporate Sponsorship options HERE and consider making a donation on behalf of your business or organization to our CLASSMUNITY page. Thank you for your consideration!
