South Summit Advisory Board

Area 31 is honored to host, as we usually do, the South Summit's Advisory Board. Top investors, entrepreneurs and innovative corporate will join to support the biggest startup conference in the world's south. This is a private event, exclusive for members of the South Summit's Advisory Board.

For the European Economic and Social Committee (the "EESC" or the "Committee"), the aim of the prize, which is awarded annually, is to reward and encourage initiatives of civil society organisations and/or individuals that have made a significant contribution to promoting European identity and integration. The world’s biggest fintech challenge for startups, which this year has grown significantly. A truly global hunt for the best of the best in the world of fintech and digital banking. EDP Open Innovation: €50.000 for the winner + 3 best teams to pitch at the WebSummit 2017!

Deadline: August 23rd

EDP Open Innovation is back with the 2017 edition! This acceleration program is for new business projects focused on technological innovation in the areas of clean-tech and energy. EDP Open Innovation will take tech and energy startups from the early stage to a business in just 3 weeks. During the program, the startups will learn and apply the Lean Startup methodology through 9 boot camps that will guide them step by step in validation of their startup’s business model.For the foreign startups accepted in the program, flight and accommodation expenses will be offered. Plataforma Talento El País

A place to spread digital talent and bring it to success. The website of EL PAÍS opens a platform of ideas in its portal #talentodigital. A global space for all innovators who have a project to show. The initiative, powered by Volkswagen, offers a web showcase that will be available to entrepreneurs until September 1 to help them present their proposals and explain them to the world. In addition, the best will find an extra backup. A jury of experts, on the one hand, and readers of EL PAÍS, on the other, will decide which projects choose the two prizes of 15,000 euros each reserved for the best creators. Register here.
