Tech Integration
For now, fixed are all the printing issues at both campuses. Soest teachers are now on just the St John network both upstairs and downstairs and all teachers there should be able to print to copier and at least one other printer. Students are able to print form the Chromebooks. The WIFI connection should be stronger now in Kindergarten and 1st grade.
At Flatrock there was an issue with students printing to the copier in the copy room. The only way to fix that right now with the Chromebooks was to take off the password. They are now able to print selecting the Sharp copier icon with the blue icon on it. Please make sure that black and white is default and color only as necessary and decided by you.
I am working with Watch Communication, the internet provider at Flatrock to see what can be done to make internet bandwidth better there. As soon as I have something, I'll share that as well.
SJE Tiger Minute
I'm open to other ideas as well if you have them. May we could start this by October 1st. I want to make sure to do it right. Would appreciate any input.

Take Note
- Sept 11th is our first PD E-Learning Day. Alicia from the TLSP will be here from 8:30-11:30 updating all on the new curriculum mapping info and support those that need it.
- November 8th- JROTC will be coming to do their exhibition again this year at 9am at Flatrock. We'll need bus and get invites out to the veterans to attend.
INPEC 2018 Conference
Speaking of schedules, the Indiana District is recognizing Jon Mielke at the conference and will be hosting a reception prior to the dinner hour. We'll want to take that into account as we decide our own dinner plans. I am looking forward to having dinner as a faculty that night. It is one of the highlights for me at least.
Hotel and registration are already taken care of for this conference. One person in each hotel room will need to pay for their room. EACS will not reimburse the school for these, only individuals. Keep detailed receipts for food etc and track your mileage (paid @ .38/mile this year) if you are the one driving. I'll get you the needed paperwork and info in October.
