Meet Anna...
Anna Rittenburg graduated from Rockport High School in 2014 and went on to earn her undergraduate and masters degrees in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Johns Hopkins University in 2018.
Anna currently works for Ernst and Young (EY) where she is a Technology Consulting Manager. In addition to her client work, Anna leads the Wellbeing and Community (W&C) group for her broader practice at EY. The W&C Team works to promote a healthy sense of self, flexible work / life balance, mental health awareness and community connection that is built on communication and trust.
Over the years, Anna has been inspired by her own mental health journey and challenges to help those around her learn about themselves through a judgment free lens. Her story focuses on self-acceptance in fostering a solid relationship with oneself and prioritizing a healthy lifestyle. Anna hopes to utilize the resources and experiences she has had to increase awareness, drive action and build a movement to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health and illness β collectively we have an immense power to make a difference in our community.
Anna will be sharing her story and promoting empathy, empowerment and understanding through the Freshmen Seminar curriculum that revolves around finding self, developing a strong sense of leadership and commitment to the greater community. She will also be meeting with our Seniors to share her story and talk about how her years at RPS provided her with a powerful support system and helped shape her journey through college and into the workforce. The foundation she was given, along with amazing family and professional support systems, have given her the courage to face her obstacles and come out stronger. Anna is committed to paying it forward and into the community, and driving forward the larger message around the importance of prioritizing mental and physical health and wellness. Please join me in welcoming Anna back to RHS to share her inspiring story and promote a positive sense of self to all students. If you have any questions about Anna or her mission, please feel free to contact me by stopping by the office or emailing me at arose@rpk12.org.

Hello Everyone and welcome to the 2022 school year!
Throughout the year the I.S.& Technology Department will be communicating updates on various topics through the schoolsβ weekly newsletters. A major focus of ours this year will be updating and reorganizing the District website RPK12.ORG. This will include menu reorganizing and ensuring that all important information is posted. The first phase of this is ensuring that all school events are listed on their respective calendars and reminding everyone of the best way to access this information. To make things easy I have linked to a quick video HERE that will show you how to best access the calendars both on a mobile device and on a laptop. The best option for parents who want to stay informed of events is to subscribe to the calendars. This will put the events directly on your calendar so you can see them all without having to visit the schoolβs website every time. As a reminder, this video as well as other video tutorials are always available on our website that can be found at the link below or by navigating to the resources tab and choosing βiRockport - Parent,Student, & Staff Training.β We hope everyone has a great year and we look forward to improving and expanding RPSβs web presence.
