DOOLEY CENTER........................FRASER PUBLIC SCHOOLS
November 2021
Can you believe that November is here already? The holiday season is fast approaching! Soon we will be celebrating Thanksgiving. Help your children to see
the things that they can be thankful for, not only at Thanksgiving, but all year long. We will talk about food, family, and togetherness this month. We hope your family finds time to share blessings and show appreciation for each other. We, here at the Dooley Center, are thankful for YOU, our families.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Fire Safety
The Dooley Center had the Roseville Fire Fighters come to visit and talk to the children. They brought their fire truck and ambulance for us to check out.
We Learned how and when to call 911; stop, drop & roll if our clothes catch on fire; fall & crawl to get out of a house fire; never play with matches or lighters; and that we should change our smoke detector batteries every 6 months.
Best of all, we learned that fire fighters are our friends and we should never hide from them. They want to help us!
Picture Retakes
All students who ordered school pictures should have received them at school. Picture Retakes will be on , November 22nd & 23rd.

PARKING LOT SAFETY
For the safety of all students, we ask parents to park in designated parking spots and not block handicap spots. Adults must walk students through the parking lot. It is also important that families are not parking along the school in the bus lanes. Your patience and assistance will go a long way in keeping our students safe.
Also, pursuant to state law and board policy, please do not use tobacco products on school premises. This includes the school parking lot. Also, please slow down.
Your assistance in keeping students safe is greatly appreciated!
***Please be aware that our Dooley entrance and exits are one way. Enter through Yew st. and exit through Canberra St.

Thanksgiving Break
The entire Dooley Center, along with all of Fraser Public Schools, will enjoy a Thanksgiving break. Our last day of school will be Tuesday, November 23rd. School will be closed Wednesday, November 24th through Friday, November 26th and will resume on Monday, November 29th. We wish you a safe, relaxing, family-fun filled Thanksgiving!
FPS Mask Policies
Masks are optional for all staff, students and visitors on campus. We will have masks available in all of our buildings for anyone who needs one. Fraser Public Schools encourages everyone who is not fully vaccinated to wear a face covering. Facial coverings are a safe, and proven strategy to prevent secondary transmission of this aggressive Delta variant in schools. Masks are primarily intended to reduce the emission of virus-laden droplets. They also help reduce inhalation of these droplets by the wearer. We ask everyone to respect each individual’s choice whether or not to wear a mask.
Masks must be worn on Fraser Public School buses. The CDC requires masks to be worn on school buses.
At-Home Health Screening
Updated FPS Quarantine Information
Superintendent Wozniak sent out some updated quarantine procedures from the Health Department on Thursday, September 30th. If you did not see her email, you may find it HERE.
Remember, the best way to keep our community healthy and in school teaching and learning is to keep children with any potential sign of illness at home until the cause is determined by a medical professional.
