JK Elementary School
End of August
Welcome back everyone. The 2020 school year looks a bit different, but my love of reading and connecting with students stays the same. August was full of tech support, virtual lessons and library inventory!
During the first three weeks of school, I helped so many families get connected to their virtual learning teachers. Whether if was connection issues, username and password troubles or just how to navigate distance learning, no problem was too big for us to solve.
I also connected to students by creating many tutorial videos and lessons. I loved to see the work created on Seesaw that the imaginative JK students turned in.

K-2 Scratch Art
We have many budding artists at JK. After reading the book Perfect by Max Amato, students went to Seesaw and created wonderful art by using their erasers.
Online Reading
Just because we are virtual, does not mean students can't be reading. Students were given a crash course on how to access online reading. Here is a link to the video if you missed it. Video
Seesaw "Shelfie"
JK students shared what was on their shelves in Sora. I loved to see what they were reading. So many cute "shelfies"!
