Compass 2020: Power On Alanton & Reach for the Stars!
October 5 - 9
Reach for the STARS!
- October is Virginia Disability History & Awareness Month
Dr. Joe Benson - Track Dedication
Check out the article on the track dedication:

Please Join VBRC
Please consider joining the Virginia Beach Reading Council (VBRC). The cost is $30.00 and you automatically become a member of the Virginia State Reading Association. This looks good in Talent Ed and when you apply for Career Teacher. Last year we had only had 17 members. I would love to increase our membership to at least 25 members this year. Remember, everyone is a reading teacher. The VBRC offers a wonderful Fall Conference and PLP classes that are only available to members. It is easy to join, just visit the following website
To encourage people to join, the VBRC is offering the following incentives:
- · a drawing for a FREE Fall Conference Registration if you join before October 15
- · the school with the highest percentage of members by October 30th will receive Dunkin Donuts for the entire staff of their school.
If you have any questions don’t hesitate to come see me. Thanks, Linda
