BHMS Principal's Update May 9, 2022
State Testing , Spring Events
Keeping Up with What is Going on at the Hill!!!
Before we begin the discussion of the newsletter for the week, I wanted to take this time to acknowledge all of our Bulldog moms and mom figures. Raising or helping to raise a middle school child is not always the easiest to do. It is a wonderful thing to see our children on their journey and through the ups and downs. You as mothers/mother figures guide them as they try to navigate peer relationships, academics, and the bombardment of social media information. You are patient and kind and no one can equal the immense responsibilities you have. From all of us at BHMS, we wish you the absolute best of Mother's Days. You so deserve it.
On a school note, please check out this newsletter. The most important information happening this week and next is our state testing. We need your help in preparing students for the testing environment (see the infographic below). Please take note of some of our activities this month as well. Lastly, we are in the process of ordering our school folders. If you have a business or someone you know has a business and would like to advertise on our school folders, please see the information in this newsletter.
Happy Spring, Bulldog families!!!
Sincerely,
Mike D'Ostilio

Students Must Carry IDs with Them Throughout the School Day.
This procedure promotes safety and the preservation of instructional time for the students. This allows to keep track of students, how long they are out of class, and the frequency by which they are out of class. This new program allows us to sort using an excel spreadsheet and then address only those individuals who are frequently out of the classroom.

Building Better Bulldogs (3Bs) Mission and Vision
This pandemic has created so many questions and concerns for students that are well beyond academics. We are committed to providing a safe environment where students can express themselves as they question the ebb and flow of their world around them.
