Fantastic First Grade!

Miss McGarry's First Grade Classroom Newsletter

About Miss McGarry...

Hello students and parents! My name is Miss Kessler McGarry, I teach first grade, and I love to learn and discover new things about our community and world. I graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Elementary Education, specializing in language arts and reading. This year will require a lot of hard work, but we will all work together as a class to grow together. I love first grade and am so excited to spend another year with a great group of students!

Things to Look Forward To...

This year we have a long list of things to accomplish. I am looking forward to using the newly obtained technology our school has received to help our class learn even more! My main goal is to help your students become global thinkers and use the vast amount of information available to them to learn about our school, homes, city, and world.

As we work to sharpen our reading and writing skills, we will also be practicing social skills such as teamwork, flexibility, and integrity. Working together as a class will allow us all to learn and grow to our full potential.
