Mrs. Kratky and Mrs. Schmitz ask 6th graders to “Live Above the Line” and this includes giving back to the community. Each year 6th graders select a cause to support. This year 6th graders chose to support the Nebraska Humane Society. During the week of December 5 - December 9 students may participate in a spirit week for $1.00 a day. Oakdale 6th Graders

We are seeing many lunch accounts dipping below a zero balance. When this happens, you receive an email from lunchaccounts@westside66.net as well as a paper letter sent home with your student. Please send money to school to take care of this negative balance as soon as you can. Students with a negative balance will no longer be able to order extra items at breakfast or lunch.

An easy way to take care of this problem is to set up a lunch account at MySchoolBucks.com. By registering on this website, you can have money automatically deposited into your child's lunch account whenever it goes below a certain amount. You can also monitor if your child is ordering extra items on a consistent basis. If you need your student's ID number, please contact Mrs Rhyner.

You can also complete an application for Free or Reduced Lunch through the federal government. This application is linked below. If you qualify, or have qualified in the past, you will need to complete this application every year.
