DE-CLUTTER AND SHOP FOR A CAUSE

THIS IS THE TIME FOR FALL CLEANING AND TO BE GIVING

Join us for tea, good conversations, an opportunity to score great finds and earn some cash from the clothes you no longer wear, all while helping us raise funds for "Hogar Niños Casa La Luz," a shelter for abandoned kids with psychomotor disorders and special needs in the Dominican Republic.

WHAT IS THRIFTY GIVING? it is an annual event that started in 2013 in NYC, where friends and friends of friends come together to sell their chic, stylish, gently used clothing to each other. At the end, they decide how much of their earnings from the sale they would like to donate to the chosen charity. You can also expect raffles and other sales to reach the fundraising goal. Overall, its a win-win plus you get to mingle with great people!

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Declutter. Take those chic almost-new items you havent worn in a while and bring them to the event. You are responsible for your sale. We also welcome clothing donations in case you are not interested in selling.

Shop. Even if you dont have anything to sell, come and shop around for great finds.

Remember to bring cash!

Participate in Our Raffles. A one-of-a kind custom made statement necklace worth up to $150 will be raffled at $5/ticket. See picture examples below.

MORE ABOUT THE CAUSE: A priest established this shelter and it subsist only from donations. Some of these kids have been found in the garbage as they have been thrown out by their families due to their condition. Check out the video below for more info.
