In The Moment
Recollection and Preview of future Rangerette Events
Overview
Current Sophomore Rangerettes will share a special memory or feeling from a traditional Rangerette event or performance. This would be a great way to advertise and build up anticipation as well as attendance. I liked the idea of including a personal quotation in the caption because it gives more emotional appeal, which I think would reach out to more than just fanatics and Forevers. While Forevers would reminisce about their experiences and feelings, hopefuls and social media followers would curiously fantasize and get a feel for what it would be like to be in the position of the Rangerette. I truly think this would engage social media viewers in a more sincere and heartfelt way. Captioned pictures would be posted two to three weeks prior to the an event or performance and would include details such as the hometown of the Sophomore, and the location, date, and time of the event.

Watch for the traditional Cotton Bowl performances on Fox, the game is December 31, 2015 in Arlington, Texas.
2016 Revels
"You imagine performing in Revels and you practice endlessly, yet it doesn't feel like reality. It's built up in your mind, as it should be, because it's everything you could want in a performance. It's unforgettable and unexplainable, but you feel like you belong on that stage. The effort and time put into this show, to allow it to surpass the expectations, made it spectacular, and getting to take part in that process while making it our own was incredible. I wouldn't have changed a thing." - Sophomore Madeline Doerr from Frisco, Texas
