A Note from the PTA President
Please join us for our next PTA meeting this coming Monday, October 1, 2018 at 5:30pm at Riverside Community Center (4498 NW High Dr, Riverside, MO 64150). This will be a meeting you won't want to miss as we have Park Hill School District Superintendent, Dr. Jeanette Cowherd, coming to speak with us. PTA will not providing babysitting for this meeting, but we welcome you to bring your children to attend the meeting alongside you.
If you're wondering how the PTA will be serving the students and staff of English Landing Elementary in the month of October, here are a few things that will keep us busy (and may even provide an opportunity for you to volunteer your time):
-PTA is honored to contribute memorabilia to the 25th Anniversary time capsule
-Field trips, funded by the PTA, are starting to get under way
-We are providing dinner to the staff as they prepare for Parent-Teacher Conferences
-Popcorn Fridays will begin in October
-Halloween class parties (supported by PTA) will take place on October 31
-A pep rally to promote our FUN RUN will be taking place
-A student directory is in the works, provided to you by the PTA
-PTA works with Feed Northland Kids program on a weekly basis
-The district clothing center will be using volunteers from English Landing, a PTA supported endeavor
This just names a few of the things PTA can do because of YOU and YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS. Thank you!
