Behavioral Adaptations

Communicatoin is any form of behavior that send a signal to any other organism. Ways to communicate are gestures, facial expressions, gaze, or chemical signals. Ants use chemical signals called phermones to create sent trails to show paths to food, as well as for alarm cells, mate attraction, and to distinguish between colonies. Additionally they have phermones that they can use to confuse the enemy and manipulate them into fifhting each other. Ants, bees, and termites all use phermones.

Competition results from niche overlap (use of the same limited resource by 2 or more species). some animals will fight to the death fot their resources. some plants species release toxins into the soil that prevent other species from growing nearby, restricting the space of other species.
