P2: Next Week's Theme: Curiosity
Curiosity is a crucial component of one's character. Ourinnate urge for discovery and exploration is a key element of our human desire for wisdom and knowledge. It’s what keeps us intrigued in the plot lines of movies and books. It’s what pushes us to try new activities or travel to different places. All individuals experience curiosity, but differ in their willingness to experience it – behaviorally, intellectually, and emotionally.
This Week's Theme: Other People Mindset - Monday, August 28th marks the anniversary of Martin Luther King's famous, "I Have A Dream" speech. Check out the link to the speech below.
Students in SRT viewed the following video related to the Other People Mindset: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWxAJJ7nqF4
Late Arrival/Early Dismissal/Sick Children
Students should ALWAYS report to the office to sign in late, sign out for an appointment or to go home sick. Students should NOT just text a parent then leave the building without checking out in the Main Office.
If parents/guardians call with enough notice, a pass can be issued and the parent/guardian can remain in the vehicle and have the student dismissed to meet them, saving time and being more convenient.
