Perfect Attendance Incentives
Life School Red Oak would like to encourage our students to be in attendance each day to make sure they can “Ready to Learn, Ready to Lead, Ready for Life.” We will hold a drawing at the end of each month for all students that have perfect attendance for that month. Students must have perfect attendance during the month, no absences, tardies, or early checkouts. There will be a prize for students that are in Kindergarten thru 3rd grade and a prize for students in 4th grade thru 6th grade. The prize winners will be announced during morning announcements and we will contact the parents/guardians to come by the office to pick up the prizes. Please see Pages 3-4 of the Student Handbook for the Attendance guidelines.
Prize for January: Fitness Tracker Watch
This week's featured college is Texas Wesleyan. Texas Wesleyan is located in Fort Worth . This college has 44 formal areas of study such as accounting, biology, chemistry, and education degrees. Texas Wesleyan students proudly wear blue and gold for their school colors and ram for the mascot.
When you are ready for life, you take responsibility for your own behavior and actions. You know when you should change your behavior for the well being of others around you. You are able to be in control of your body, thoughts, and emotions. By doing these things, you are using the leader attribute, Self- Managed.
This weeks I will statement:
“I will manage my self by controlling my behavior so others can continue to learn.”
College and Career Week at LSRO is January 27th- 31st!
During this week, we will talk about the importance of education and having a career. We would like to have parent volunteers come during this week to share about their college and/or career.
Your presentation will be done only in your student’s classroom. The classroom teacher will coordinate the time and date of presentation.
If you are able to come, please contact your student’s teacher to coordinate a day and time during the week of January 27th-31st.
