Be a Learner
February: A time for reflection, a time for resilience, a time for learning. This month, PAES staff focus on viewing challenges as opportunities for learning. In Onward, Aguilar clarifies "Learning, and its correlating disposition of curiosity, open a path for resilience that's sometimes overlooked" (223.) As we dive into winter benchmark data and prepare for March conferences, we strive to pique the curiosity of our students and lead them to the mindset of learning as a path to growth. Fostering strong relationships, we embark on PBIS review, a school-wide book initiative, and many other exciting opportunities for our Bulldog families. Read on for more details!

From our Intervention Team...
Greetings everyone! We have completed our winter benchmark assessments. There has been great reading and math skills growth since the fall with all of our students at PAES. Classroom teachers will share your child's results with you at conferences. Note that there may be some switching within our intervention groups based upon student's winter benchmark data.
We will be having a Title I Advisory meeting in late April. We always appreciate parent involvement! We discuss with teachers what things have gone well with our program, what we can improve, and how our program is doing from a parent and student perspective. If you are interested, please contact Mrs. Grothe, Mrs. Gulbranson, Mrs. Lura or Mrs. Holmberg.
Thank you for all you do for our children at PAES!
