Internet Safety
what we need to do to be safe online
Safety Basics
- never share your name, address or phone number online
- never tell a stranger where you go to school
- don't open anything unknown
- tell a grown-up as soon as something happens that doesn't feel right
some websites that are OKAY in school

Always check with the teacher before you play on a website.
School is not the place for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, ect.
but... when you are on social media remember...
only watch YouTube videos related to class
Music videos and TV shows should not be watched on school time. Videos should be approved by an adult.
Always ask a teacher
If something goes wrong, if you accidentely click something you shouldn't have, if something appears and you don't know what it is, or if you don't know if you should be on a site, ask your teacher for help!
