Backpacks 4 KIDS

According to the United Nations Development program, around 113 million children worldwide were not enrolled in school at the end of the 2013 school year. In some countries, especially in south Asia & Africa, girls are discriminated and do not have the chance to get an education. Also, only 5% of children with special educational needs are not permitted to stay in school. All of this just makes you think, what more could you do?
- Half the population of Africa lives on less than US $1 a day.
- 40% of Africans over the age of 15, and 50% of women above the age of 25 are illiterate.
- There is an average of 40 pupils per teacher in sub-Saharan Africa. In many countries, it is more than 60 to one.
- Africa loses an estimated 20,000 skilled personnel a year to developed countries.
Our non profit organization, Backpacks 4 All, will help donate an extensive amount of school supplies to children in need. Our mission is to provide children with the educational supplies they need to thrive and learn in their classroom.
