Hosting an Hour of Code at ISL
... would you consider volunteering? (for the Lower School)
What do we need?
We are looking for volunteers, who have experience at any level, to to do The Hour of Code with one lower school class on December 5th from 9:30 to 10:30 (Not quite an hour, but we need to fit our regular schedule). We would like you to talk about how you use programming or computers, before doing an hour of code with a class in order to kick off Computer Science in Education Week at ISL.
Please watch this short (10:32 minute) TED Talk which will explain The Hour of Code. Hadi Partovi has a long run up to the hour of code...but it's worth watching.

Why do we need you?
We have been organising Computer Science in Education Week around The Hour of Code for the past three years. This year we were hoping to kick it off simultaneously across the lower school, with a volunteer facilitator in every classroom.
Please click here to read a blog post about how it went last year at ISL.
Here is the website we'll be using for the introduction this year.
How can you help us?
Please fill in the form below if you are able to host an hour of code on December 5th. We will get back to you with some training.
