Welcome NRJH Longhorns
Happy October to everyone. We have had a great start to an amazing school year. Our counseling team brings a vast array of counseling experiences to the Longhorn family.
As school counselors, our goals are to build positive relationships with every child, and promote academic and personal success through collaboration with parents and staff. To continuously support you and your child(ren), please see the below grade level assignments.
The grade assignments are as follows:
- Mr. Brown works with our 6th grade students.
- Ms. Brenell Young works with our 7th grade students.
- Dr. Brice works with our 8th grade students.
Event Information
Red Ribbon Week
Our Weekly Themes:
- Monday: Longhorns are "RED-y" to live a drug free life- (wear RED).
- Tuesday: Be All You Can Be, Be Drug Free - (wear army fatigues/camouflage).
- Wednesday: Longhorns give drugs the BOOT- (wear your favorite western outfit).
- Thursday: Real HEROES don't do drugs -(wear your favorite super hero shirt/outfit).
- Friday: Longhorns put a CAP on drugs- (wear your favorite cap/hat to school).
