SCHOOL WELLNESS SYMPOSIUM IS HERE
Building Bridges Together Nov. 17-18 in Columbia, Missouri
We are excited to host a groundbreaking event in Columbia, November 17-18, entitled "School Wellness Symposium--Building Bridges Together."
The target audience is for K-12 educators, counselors, support staff, central office, health professionals, higher education, clergy, and community decision-makers. As we travel the state, we consistently hear concerns from individuals regarding issues surrounding mental illness. It's going to take all of us to figure out the challenges we are facing in our Missouri schools and communities. "Better Together"
Topics include everything from, "Closing Gaps in Achievement and Opportunity" to "Trauma-Sensitive Classrooms" to "Self-Care" to "School Safety," and Medicaid 101. We are bringing together presenters from around the country and the Missouri School Board Association to address these challenging topics. I have included detailed information below and links that will take you to registration and hotel information.
Please share this information with key stakeholders in your organization and in your local community. We hope you will send a representative or, better yet, a team. If you register three, you will receive the 4th registration for $2.00.
You can earn one hour of graduate credit from Lindenwood University through your participation in this conference. See the link below.
Don't hesitate to call our office for assistance. You can reach us at 573-445-5071.
Respectfully,
Clark Mershon, Executive Director
