Sequoyah Scribe student newspaper will meet 2:45-3:30. All staff members are required to attend. The editorial team will meet until 5:15.

**Counseling News:

Students can sign up for the Bullying Prevention team or the Red Ribbon Week team on the Do Something board in the Counseling Center.


**Student Advisory Action Team:

Students who are interested in being a part of the Student Advisory Action team may pick up an application in the main office. This team will meet monthly with JSMS Administration and be briefed on all items pertinent to school life. This team will provide student input to decision making at Sevier.

The Warrior Whoop! Celebrations and Recognitions...

Thank you to Michelle Loudermilk who will be coordinating the updating of our hallway spirit clings!

  • Thank you to Lydia Elam for coordinating student interest surveys for Jr. Tribe Time and thank you to all of our Related Arts teachers for coordinating Jr. Tribe Time activities!
  • Thank you to Michelle Loudermilk, Marty Meade and Pandy Elkins for being willing to manage the logistics of our upcoming health insurance vote.
  • Thank you to our JSMS Student Council sponsors, Rachael Wagner and Nancy Weaver, in planning our Spirit Week! The entire Warrior family had a great time and a fun week celebrating our Warrior Pride!
  • Thank you to all of you who volunteered to help serve concessions during football season! What a huge help! The money PTA makes through the concessions goes back directly to support JSMS students. We will continue to need concessions volunteers during basketball season so be looking for opportunities to help PTA in this way! Thank you!
  • Thank you to our JSMS drum line and to Kelli Ferguson who shared their talents with Jackson Elementary School and participated in their Leadership Celebration!
  • Thank you to all of our hard working football players, our outstanding Warrior band and our talented dance team and cheerleaders who all contributed to a successful City Championship! The City-Championship trophy has returned to John Sevier!
  • Thank you to Lynna Bingham for organizing the t-shirt sale for our City-Championship!
  • Thank you to all of our teachers who facilitated sessions and for those who participated in our Technology Fair during our Professional Development day on October 7th!
