A Word from Your Friendly Neighborhood Principal. . .
Parents,
Round Hill Elementary School was honored to host our annual Veterans Day program today. The children and staff did such a wonderful job of singing and decorating for the occasion. Our freedoms are directly connected to the service and sacrifice of our veterans so this was our way of saying THANK YOU!
Below you will find the presentation that includes all of the photos submitted to us. I am also working on a video with segments from the different songs for you to enjoy and share with family or friends who were unable to be here for the performance. Stay tuned for that in the coming days.
Don't forget to sign up for family bowling night next Wednesday! Its a fun family event you won't want to miss!
Sincerely,
Andrew Davis - Principal
Happy Veterans Day!

Thanksgiving Thank You & Giving Tree
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the RHES Thanksgiving Dinner Drive. With your help, 50 complete dinners and 100 pounds of food were collected for the local food pantry. We are very grateful for the kindness and generosity of our school community.
The RHES Giving Tree will be held Friday, November 18 through Friday, December 9. The Giving Tree is our annual tradition of helping RHES families in need of holiday assistance. The stars on the Giving Tree are wish requests from our student and their families. Please talk to your child about the Giving Tree and let them know if they may or may not take a star. Students who have been given permission may take a star from the Giving tree before or after school. The purchased items should be returned to the Giving Tree, gift wrapped with star securely attached, no later than Friday, December 9. For more information, please contact joanne.fuller@lcps.org.

Second Stop Bully Prevention Home Links
Over the past two weeks, our School Counselors, Mrs. Williams and Mrs. Blair, have been teaching about how to recognize bullying behaviors. We define bullying behaviors as one-sided, repetitive, mean on purpose behaviors that take away one’s power. Please click on the corresponding grade level to learn more about the lesson that was taught.
