Leadership Excellence
According to the Disney Institute, the foundation for successful leaders is communication through a collaborative culture, encouraging creativity, and safe environment to share.
This year we are determined to become a "YES.. if" and "Yes... AND" environment.
We are hoping that the opportunity to share your ideas will help us all take on the opportunity to be a leader within your roles.
Cast Excellence
Disney has a unique language that they use to set the right tone with for their company. Customers are "guests," Those who work at Disney wear "costumes" not uniforms, and employees are considered, "cast members." Disney prides themselves on hiring employees that smile and are friendly, it's just part of their culture.
There's nothing more exciting then working with the best educators. We pride ourselves on hiring only the best and brightest "cast." We feel very lucky to have you here to support our vision and mission of excellence. It's because of your care for our students and families that we have transformed our school from a battlefield to an enchanted learning environment.
Guest Satisfaction
Disney uses a process known as "guestology." This is where they understand the customer's needs, wants, emotions, and preconceived notions of the company. They believe they create loyalty by catering to their guests needs.
The #vbevibe has become well known across the district- and the country through twitter- for doing what's best for our "guests." It all starts with relationships and the drive to make our school the very best learning environment ON EARTH, not just for title-one students, but for any and all students that could walk through our doors!
We are also hoping to expand opportunities for our students to learn and grow beyond the classroom. Please check the bottom of the smore to find out how.

9:00-10:00 Meet with Grade Chairs
August 8th- Work in classrooms/ grade level planning
1/2 day District PD in the AM
1:00-3:30 Support Facilitation Training (All teachers supporting ESE students and ESE)
August 9th- Work in classrooms/ grade level planning
6:00-7:30- Orientation Night
August 10th-Work in classrooms/ grade level planning
August 13th- First Day of School!!!!

We will be providing a BUS every single Wednesday so our students can join clubs and participate in activities that help them find their passion.
Please think about starting a club and supporting this initiative.
