Titan Staff News
Week of September 26
Titans,
We are almost at the close of our TTESS Goal Setting Conferences. It's been very refreshing to have the opportunity to sit down with each of you individually about your professional goals, action items and future as an educator. Just the conferences alone will help us as administrators to know you better and be able to support you as you work in your classrooms this year. I am anxious to see how our instruction progresses once we begin our TTESS Observations. Above all things, remember that this is a growth model and that we all have opportunities for improvement.
I'd like to ask a reflection question of you this week. Please take a moment to reflect upon my question and email me your thoughts. This is important to do because 1) writing your reflections and thoughts allows you opportunity to process and synthesize the information and 2) I genuinely want to know what you are thinking and doing.
Question: What are you doing in your classroom to promote and encourage reading?
Have a great weekend,
Kim

Thank you for your time with ICLE on Thursday! I attached the Academic Learning prompts to the email. Be sure to print those out and add them to you ICLE binder. You'll be using these for PLCs in the near future. These are GREAT to use for developing higher level questioning and critical thinking in your classrooms. Don't re-invent the wheel!
I'd like to invite you to stop by the bulletin board outside my office for a little "Chalk Talk." Come by and respond to the question posted. Come by again later in the week and respond to your peers' comments!
Did you know you all have sent over 300 positive #titanpride emails! Keep it up!
